How Can You Help

  • Volunteer at our monthly work party. First Saturday of the month 10.30am to 1pm
  • Join the management team – we are looking for help with planning and running Events and with Fundraising. Can you spare some time for us?
  • Are you a workshop leader looking for a space outdoors or indoors in our yurt? Can you offer countryside crafts or wellbeing sessions? We’d love to hear from you.
  • Make a donation
  • Befriend a tree

Looking for a special present or a unique way of commemorating an event or person? Why not befriend a tree in the orchard. Here’s what one of our ‘befrienders’ wrote …

‘It was a small feature in the Parish Magazine that caught my eye and led to one of the best Christmas gifts ever! Northaw Community Orchard was inviting local residents to befriend a tree in support of the Orchard.  A quick call to the Orchard group and £25 was exchanged for a nice certificate confirming that I had (on behalf of my wife) adopted a Lane’s Prince Albert apple tree, number 13, in Willow Field. A Christmas gift that was well received and Brownie points for me’

For a donation of £25 you can choose your very own tree. In return, you will be updated on its progress and will receive a handsome certificate. Even better, you will be able to sample fruits from your tree each year. We still have many fruit and nut trees to choose from including cherries, plums, apples, pears, cobnuts, quinces and more.
